PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Medical Degree (MB ChB) completed at Edinburgh University in 1994. Completed specialist training in the U.K. in 2002.

Australian specialist qualifications in Anaesthesia (FANZCA) were achieved in 2004, with an appointment as a Staff Specialist to Flinders Medical Centre being granted in 2006.

Currently working as an anaesthetic specialist in Flinders Medical Centre, as well as previously working at Repatriation General Hospital and as a retrieval doctor for the state aeromedical retrieval service (MedStar).

Keen interest in human factors applied to medicine and patient safety.

Joined Advanced Anaesthetics Adelaide (formerly Southern Group of Anaesthetic Specialists) in 2007 and is an active member of the Practice working in various locations in the Adelaide Metropolitan area.
