PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

BMBS Flinders University, 1989.

Appointment to South Australian Rotational Anaesthesia Training in 1991.

Specialist qualification in Anaesthesia achieved in 1996 with an appointment as a Staff Specialist to Flinders Medical Centre in 1996.

Currently, my professional time is shared between my appointment as a Senior Consultant Anaesthetist at Flinders Medical Centre and as an Associate of Advanced Anaesthetics Adelaide.

I have an interest in language and communication in anaesthesia and the use of hypnosis in the management of preoperative anxiety and pain.
