BIOGRAPHY

I was born and raised in Namibia, the northern neighbour of South Africa. I completed my medical as well as anaesthetic specialist training in Cape Town/South Africa where I was awarded my anaesthetic fellowship as well as a masters degree in anaesthetics in 2001.

In 2002, what was meant to be a 1 year visit turned into a permanent relocation to Australia. I was awarded the Australian Anaesthetic Fellowship (FANZCA) in 2003 and have since become a proud Aussie!

For more than 10 years I was employed as a senior staff specialist by the Flinders Medical Centre. Currently I work as a full-time private anaesthetist with Advanced Anaesthetics Adelaide.

In my spare time I like nothing better than 4WD, camping or bushwalking in the great Australian outback.
